Inside The Bee Kingdom

Inside the bee hive, the home of bees, recognized as one of the most hygienic environments of the world.
A well developed society, governed mainly by scent molecules, or pheromones.
Each hive has only one Queen, about 500 male Drones and about 60,000 sterile female Workers.
Bees of different classifications carry out different duties according to their age,
hence are allocated with different food.
Younger bees work within the hive while the older bees work outside the hive.
The different food among the bees exactly could contribute incredible benefits to human's health.

ROYAL JELLY

Royal Jelly is the milky substance secreted by the young worker bee
through their mouths after they have consumed pollen and nectar in the hive.
It is yellowish in colour, a bit sour in taste and very nutritious as a food.
Royal Jelly is the food and the only food for the Queen Bee throughout her life.
No other bees share it with her except the bee larvae in their first three days after hatching.

PROPOLIS

Propolis is a sticky substance a sort of glue that the bees collect from buds and tree barks.
Where the glue is brought back to the hive,  it is then given a special treatment-
being mixed with a number of enzymes released by the bees from their glands,
thus ensuring that each bees is screened against bacteria or viruses
that the bee may pick up from outside.

Pollen

Pollen is the male germ seed of plant. These seeds exist in the anthers of flowers,
(at the very tip of the flower). Each seed consists of all the elements necessary for life and reproduction.
Bee works on the flower for nectar, the tiny particles of Pollen get stuck onto the sticky and hairy legs of the bee. Tiny particles of Pollen are so collected on its legs, the bee will then move these particles into the little sac or basket as its rear legs. Then fly back and empty the basket at the bottom of the hive for the worker bees in the hive to stir them into little round balls. These balls-like stuff is then out aside, ready for consumption.

HONEY

Honey is produced by the bees from a watery substance known as nectar,
actually a liquid secretion from the sweet glands of flowers. Working on the flower for nectar the bee,
using its mouth, sucks the nectar into its stomach where it is stored for the time being.
When the stomach is full, the bee will fly back to the hive and release the nectar therein by way of vomiting it.
